Phobio, the omni-channel trade-in service that allows for simplified consumer and business technology device upgrades, recently announced that it was selected by OnePlus to power the global mobile technology company’s new trade-in program throughout North America.
Through the partnership, OnePlus customers will benefit from Phobio’s simple and transparent trade-in service, which will provide either cash back or a store voucher to purchase a new device and/or accessories. The trade-in program will accept OnePlus models in addition to devices from Samsung, Apple, LG, Google, and other top brands.
The Phobio platform will allow OnePlus to provide trade-in value for specific phones and facilitate the process of returning the device. A leading provider of device trade-ins, Phobio has been instrumental in recycling millions of smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Additionally, every year the company prevents over 500 metric tons of electronic waste from entering landfills.
“OnePlus having selected us as their trade-in partner is a very rewarding win for us,” says Stephen Wakeling, CEO and Co-Founder of Phobio. “Our technology platform, best practices, and process will enable OnePlus to seamlessly manage a broad range of trade-ins while providing existing and new customers with top dollar for their devices. We look forward to working with OnePlus, especially as they launch their latest smartphone, the new OnePlus.”
OnePlus customers can begin trading in their devices online through the Phobio platform.
